Timers view

This tab lets you manage all your timers. While each individual Timer can serve as your means of timing and documenting a specific event or task, the Timers view lets you treat your whole collection of Timers as a priority list. A Timer can be created using the Timer button at the bottom of the screen (or pressing the New button in the Timers view). If that Timer is saved, it shows up as a line item on this screen.

From this screen, saved Timers can be printed, reopened, deleted, or moved up or down in priority, using the appropriate buttons. Each is described below.

New The New button creates a new Timer and opens it in another window. Pressing the New button has the same effect as pressing the large Timer button at the bottom-left of the screen. It exists here because the large Timer button is only available if your WakeUp.ini file indicates it should be shown (with the line LAUNCH_TIMER=true). If not turned on in WakeUp.ini, the New button is the only way to create Timers.

Edit The Edit button opens the currently selected Timer in its own window (described in the Timer page). This is the same as double-clicking the Timer or pressing the Enter key when it is highlighted in the table. Opening an already saved timer allows you to modify it, even continuing to add elapsed time if you are continuing work on that task.

Print The Print button will print the Timer currently selected in the table.

Delete The Delete button permanently deletes the currently selected Timer.

Up / Down By default, Timers displayed in the table are in order of creation, from oldest (at the top) to newest (at the bottom). The Up and Down buttons let you rearrange the list in the order you prefer. If a newly created task (at the bottom) is of high priority to you, select that Timer and press the Up button to move it to a higher position in the list. WakeUp will keep track of the priorities (order) of this list to match your preferences.
